Garrett Rohrbaugh

Garrett is originally from Emmitsburg and is a 2012 Catoctin High graduate. From an early age he found interest in history and family genealogy. In 2022 Garrett, his wife and their young kids moved back to Thurmont to plant roots and be close to family that still live in the area. Garrett is excited to join the Society, serve his community, and put his interest in history into action. Professionally, Garrett is a Retirement Plan Advisor at Kampstra Wealth Management in Gettysburg, PA where he specializes in collaborating with business owners, CFOs, and HR Directors to optimize workplace retirement plans. He and their firm have the skills, specialization, and resources available to serve and implement 401(k) plans, cash balance pension plans, defined benefit pensions, municipal pensions, 457(b) governmental plans, and nonqualified deferred compensation plans. Garrett earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Shenandoah University. He volunteers in the Leadership and Mentoring Program at Shenandoah’s School of Business and serves on the board of directors of the Rotary Club of Gettysburg. Garrett enjoys spending his time away from work with his wife Ericka and their family. He is an avid sports fan, weightlifter, and outdoorsman.
