Marian Harper

Marian is a lifelong Marylander; she and her husband moved to Thurmont in 1975. Marian worked as an elementary school teacher and also was active as a volunteer and member of the PTA while her three children were in Frederick County schools. When her kids graduated, she worked in education research for 20 years. Marian has been a member of the Historical Society for about ten years and is interested in sociology and anthropology. She is our first contact for many new members.
